Thank You Card

Hi everyone! Leslie from Love To Scrap 2 here with you today to share a Blank Page Muse Inspiration Team project tutorial!

Supplies Used:
Flower & Bird Sketches Stamp Set
Rosette Hearts Stamp Set
Watercolor paper
Navy blue cardstock

Corrugated kraft paper
Alcohol markers
Black ink

Spritz watercolor paper with a little water and some blue ink. Repeat as necessary to get the color and shading you want.

When the watercolor paper is dry, stamp the floral images from the Flower & Bird Sketches stamp set in black ink.

Color the images with alcohol markers and stamp the 'thank you' sentiment from the Rosette Hearts stamp set in black ink. Adhere a torn piece of corrugated kraft paper across the bottom of the panel. Layer the panel on navy blue cardstock and then adhere to a white card base.

For the inside, adhere one thick and one thin strip of leftover navy blue cardstock along the left side of the panel. Stamp a sentiment from the Rosette Hearts stamp set in black ink. Adhere the panel to navy blue cardstock and then adhere to the inside of the card base.

Fanciful Flight

Hi Everyone,
Jess here today sharing a fun card with you today.

Product List:
World Map Hot Air Balloon
Feathered Wings
Floral Medallion
Petals Rosette Medallion
Words by Jane
Rosette Hearts Set
Black Archival Ink
Sepia Archival Ink
Collage Medium
Distress Crayons
Distress Ink
Glue

Using Black Archival ink stamp your World Map Hot Air Balloon and Feathered Wings on an old dictionary page that has been coated in collage medium.
Color you images using Distress Crayons. When the paper is coated with the collage medium it allows you to blend the crayons on the paper just using your fingers.
Stamp your sentiment from the Words by Jane set.

Ok, here's a little booboo.  I wanted to use the large background stamp that is on the Rosette Hearts Set for my background.  I stamped it on a texture piece of cardstock and all of the detai was lost, but I liked the grungy pattern it made.  I stenciled around the border for  bit more solid visual interest.

Cut a strip of white cardstock and randomly stamped the Floral Medallion and the
Petals Rosette Medallion using archival ink.  Add distress ink and water for an aged appearance.
Attach the strip to an oversized card.
Add  your dictionary page on top and then add scribbles with Gel Pens
Your card is now complete.
I hope you enjoyed this and will now make your own!

She Left Beauty Wherever She Went

Hello Gals,

For a dramatic and quick background add a watercolor drip over the top of a stamped background. It adds a subtle shadow-like layer. Last, use black ink to repeat the same design on top of the dried background. Go ahead have a play with this idea and be sure to share your creations on the Blank Page Muse Fan Page.

Directions:

1. Use black ink to stamp a female image and then color it in using a black marker to create a silhouette. Carefully cut around the image and set aside.

2. Use pink pigment ink to stamp a background of roses.  Stamp some extra roses to use as embellishments.

3. Stamp a sentiment with permanent black ink and set aside.

4. Next, spray the top edge of the background lightly with plain water and guide the drips to form a pleasing arrangement.  While the paper is still wet, apply the colored mists.  They will follow the guide of the wet paper and help to keep the drips evenly spaced. Continue to add color tilting the page to allow the mists to blend and flow.

5.  Use black pigment ink to stamp a variety of roses over the dried background, as well as, adding some directly onto the cardbase.  Round the corners and adhere the dripping background to the right side of the cardbase.

6. Adhere the sentiment and add the silhouette to the left side of the card using 3D foam tape and covering the seam.

7. Embellish the roses with glitter glue and add a random sprinkle of mini gems as the perfect finishing touch.
