Eclipse Card

Hi,

Today's simple project is a quick and easy eclipse card using the Ton of Flowers Stamp Set. To give a floral card an elegant look only black and white was used in this creation. As always, most designs can be used for many different occasions simply by changing out the sentiment. Feel free to choose your own sentiment.

letter dies
foam tape
black ink
white embossing powder
dew drop embellishments

Using the beautiful flower stamps from the Ton of Flowers Stamp Set create a patterned piece of paper to use as card layer large enough to fit your chosen word. This card uses two inch die cut letters so this card will need a legal size envelope to mail.

Cut the letters out of the patterned layer created. Determine where you want the word before cutting and to make sure it will fit. Attach the background layer to the card base. Using foam tape affix the die cut letters back into their negative space. The foam tape gives the eclipse element to the card. (Not sure why this is called eclipse but would love to hear why. Please leave a comment if you know.)

Embossed sentiment onto black banner and added to card along with a few dew drops. Can not get any easier then this!
